Fishing along Jekyll Island, Cumberland Island and St. Simons Island is great year round. Thousands of acres of salt marsh flats, miles of rivers and creeks, warm ocean waters, and an abundance of shrimp and baitfish make these waters some of the most productive fishing grounds anywhere. Deep sea, offshore and inshore fishing are all available. Speckled Sea Trout, Red Bass, Flounder, Whiting, King and Spanish Mackerel, Shark and Tarpon are a few of the species that visit local waters. 

 

All trips are private charters, only your group or family onboard. Six-person maximum. Children are welcome. Most of our clients are novice anglers that appreciate the courteous, one on one, instructional treatment they receive. Bait, tackle, fishing license and ice are provided. Trips depart Jekyll Harbor Marina daily.

Creekside Charters is owned and operated by Captain Richard Latham, a 25-year veteran of the local waters. Captain Latham is licensed by the United States Coast Guard.

 

 Charters fish the waters around St. Simons, Jekyll, Cumberland and Sea Island. Custom charters are available to suit your needs. All vessels have the latest USCG safety equipment. Individuals, groups, or corporate parties are welcome.

Captain Scott Wagner has lived and fished Savannah and the Low-Country for over 20 years, and knows the local waters like the back of his hand. He is considered one of the top fly fisherman in the area and one of the top saltwater sightfishing guides in coastal Georgia and South Carolina. Along with the Georgia coast, Capt. Scott has guided in Alaska and the Bahamas, along the west side of Andros pursuing some of the worlds largest .

 

Most of Capt. Scotts fishing is done in and around the Savannah to St Simons,  Hilton Head and Beaufort, along its numerous rivers, estuaries and flats. Savannah Fly offers both half and full day charters (4 or 8 hour trips). Because of seasonal changes, be sure to contact Capt. Scott to insure your charter is set up at the right time according to the species you would like to target.
